The Auxiliary to the National Dental Association (ANDA) is comprised of spouses of dental professionals. Our organization serves as a supportive group of friends who share an interest in family, community, and the dental profession. We embrace the National Dental Associations (NDA) mission of service to the community, dental student education and scholarships. Membership is open to spouses of dentists who maintain membership in the NDA. Our focus and initiative is to create a more vital, visible and valuable organization to our members and guests, as well as to continue to encourage families to join the NDA family activities, support community service efforts and scholarships for minority dental students.

The National Dental Association (NDA) is the largest and oldest organization of minority oral health professionals in the world. Representing African American dentists in the United States and abroad, the NDA has become a powerful voice for the health care rights of the under-served.
ANDA supports the mission and vision of the NDA through our own efforts in Scholarship fundraising for minority dental students. We also support the NDA and SNDA dental educational efforts through community service and outreach.
We believe that the dental spouse plays a major role in the family as well as the dental practice; our focus is on helping new spouses acclimate into the dental profession to be the support needed for the dentist.
We also support selected family agencies in the communities where the annual conventions are held. Our focus and efforts are to support families in underserved communities.
Membership is open to spouses of dentists and dental students that are financially active in NDA and SNDA. Dues are paid annually directly to ANDA's Financial Secretary.
